By leveraging AI-powered insights, centralized policy enforcement, intelligent network automation, and identity-based security, HPE delivers comprehensive edge-to-cloud networking and security solutions that enable secure, agile, and future-ready digital infrastructure for enterprises worldwide. **What youll do:** **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and own core endpoint agent systems (Golang/C++/SWIFT), ensuring high performance, scalability, and security across desktop and mobile platforms, namely Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and Linux in ZTNA and VPN environments. - Architect and implement advanced networking and security capabilities, including secure tunnelling, TLS/encryption handling, identity-aware access control, and traffic steering. - Drive end-to-end delivery of complex features, aligning implementations with the organisation s SASE/ZTNA architecture and security standards. - Optimise and evolve existing agent and networking codebases, ensuring low latency, high availability, and consistent policy enforcement across distributed environments. - Establish and enforce high engineering standards, including comprehensive testing, secure coding practices, and code quality improvements. - Lead debugging and resolution of complex production issues, including low-level networking, tunnelling failures, and protocol-level problems. - Drive observability and diagnostics improvements, including logging, telemetry, and end-to-end traffic visibility from endpoint agents to cloud services. - Mentor engineers, contribute to design and architectural discussions, and influence technical direction for agent development and platform capabilities. - Stay up to date with industry advancements in ZTNA, VPN technologies, and systems engineering, bringing best practices into the product to strengthen security posture and performance. **What you need to bring:** **Required Skills & Experience** Experience: 5 8 years Technical Skills: - 5-8 years of strong experience in C++ or Go application development, delivering production-grade systems. - Proven experience building and owning client applications (desktop and/or mobile) with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Strong understanding of network programming and protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS, and their use in distributed environments. - Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems with a focus on reliability and resilience. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and integrating systems with CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery. - Expertise in debugging complex production issues, including system-level and networking-related problems. - Experience on AI-Driven Engineering, familiarity with usage of AI tools in development - Nice to Have - Strong experience with secure access technologies, including ZTNA, VPN, or secure tunnelling implementations in production. - Deep understanding of security engineering, including TLS internals, encryption mechanisms, identity-based access control, and secure traffic handling. - Experience building or enhancing endpoint agents / client-side networking components, including policy enforcement and traffic steering. - Advanced experience in cross-platform client development, with the ability to evaluate and optimise frameworks (or native implementations) for performance and scalability. - Strong ability to troubleshoot low-level networking issues, such as packet drops, tunnel failures, DNS issues, and certificate problems. **Additional Skills:** Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, Full Stack Development, Release Management, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX) **Job:** Engineering **Job Level:** TCP\\_03 HPE is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer.
