Job description

We are seeking a skilled **VB.NET Developer** with strong experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in **VB.NET, SQL Server, APIs, and application support**, with exposure to **Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Cybersecurity concepts** being a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using **VB.NET** and the **.NET Framework**. - Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and queries. - Integrate applications with **REST APIs**, web services, and third-party solutions. - Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and implement requirements. - Support application modernization and migration initiatives. Required Skills - Strong experience in **VB.NET / Visual Basic .NET**. - Experience with **.NET Framework, ASP.NET, WinForms, ADO.NET, and LINQ**. - Hands-on experience with **Microsoft SQL Server**, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization. - Experience with **REST APIs, JSON, XML, and Web Services**. - Knowledge of **Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools**. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and application support experience.
