VDI Engineer - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Qty – 2 Working - Night Shift - Can be remote 5 plus years exp **CloudPC & Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)** *T4i Endpoint Engineering | Intuit* **Must Have:** 1. **Design, deploy, and manage Intuit's CloudPC/Windows 365 and AWS Workspaces environment at enterprise scale across global employee populations including night shift coverage.** 2. **Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS Workspaces, or Citrix/VMware Horizon — at least one at production scale.** 3. **Strong AWS Workspaces expertise including WorkSpaces Personal/Pools, WorkSpaces Thin Client, Directory Service integration (AD Connector / AWS Managed AD), and bundle/image management.** 4. **Strong Azure AD / Entra ID and AWS IAM expertise — Conditional Access, identity-based device trust, and SSO integration for virtual endpoint onboarding across cloud platforms.** 5. **Experience integrating Zscaler ZIA/ZPA or equivalent ZTNA solution with CloudPC and AWS Workspaces for secure remote access without VPN.** 6. **Scripting fluency in PowerShell, Python, and/or AWS CLI / Terraform for provisioning automation, remediation workflows, and multi-cloud lifecycle management.** 7. **Ticket management proficiency is a must — hands-on experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident management, change requests, CMDB updates, and SLA-driven queue management; and Jira for sprint planning, story creation, bug tracking, and cross-team delivery tracking.** 8. **Night shift availability is a must — candidate must be able to cover GED India night shift hours to support North America business hours, handle P1/P2 incidents, and participate in war-room support during rollouts and escalations.** 9. **Experience with monitoring and DEX tooling (Nexthink, Lakeside SysTrack, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent) to measure CloudPC and Workspaces performance and user experience.** 10. Demonstrated ability to operate in a **fast-moving, cross-functional environment** — partnering with Security, IT, and Business stakeholders to drive CloudPC and AWS Workspaces adoption at scale with strong ticket hygiene and sprint delivery discipline. **Good to have :** 1. Good to have Zero **Touch Provisioning (ZTP)** patterns and ability to adapt onboarding workflows for virtual desktop personas across AWS and Azure environments. 2. Good to have to **Windows image engineering** — golden image builds for both AWS Workspaces bundles and Windows 365 — WinGet/MSIX app delivery and update ring management. 3. Good to have **Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM** or Microsoft Intune for CloudPC policy, compliance, and app delivery across both Azure and AWS-hosted virtual desktops.
