Job description

**Desired** **Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have\\*\\*** 1. Vehicle Integration Engineering / Design & Release of **tractor components** such as **hydraulics, sheet metal, cabin, operator stations, linkages,** and **electrical systems**. a. Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electromechanical/ Electrical Engineering degree or similar. b. Experience in Vehicle Integration of automotive / tractor subsystems meeting packaging & functional requirements of the product design, development and validation with OEM and/or tier 1/2 suppliers. c. Understanding of typical automotive design, development, manufacturing   and quality processes like Digital Mock-up (DMU), Design for Assembly (DFA). Design for Service (DFS), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). d. Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools 2. Computer Aided Designs a. Familiarity with cad systems/ **NX parametric solid modelling** and **Teamcenter** b. Experience in the design of complex **hydraulic** **tubings** **&** **adaptors,** **sheet-** **metal, plastics, wiring harness** and machined components. c. Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks d. Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes e .Strong organization, planning and data management skills f. Strong written and oral communications to provide guidance, participate / contribute to design and packaging meetings **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** Conduct part design reviews and support tool development at onsite/offshore facility Complete DRBTR documentation for tractor units that completed assigned testing Investigate issues found in DRBTR inspection and test failures at onsite/offshore facility Work with client/supplier-based workshops to make required prototypes and bridge parts urgently required based on programs needs Supports all the dry runs, and managements PPDRs (pre-production design reviews) Conduct technical reviews and resolve vehicle integration issues
