Job Title: **VP- Fund Accounting** Department: **ISO** About Business line/Function: **Fund Accounting/Administration** Position Purpose: **Fund Accounting operation / production** Responsibilities: **Daily Operations (Delivery of Daily Net Asset value of Mutual funds) & People Management** Direct Responsibilities - The Candidate will be expected to oversight the operational areas and work closely to support transformation. - The role requires strong Organizational and People Management skills - Strong technical understanding of Fund Accounting / Fund Services functions is expected. VP will be responsible for oversight, review, and allocations of day-to-day Business - Need to have ownership to support enhanced productivity by 5 % plus efficiency to manage more business with same or less workforce. - Candidate will be accountable to create appropriate mindset across team to follow conduct and compliance protocols with zero breaches. - Strictly adhere to Key Performance Indicators for the process and achieving the same on a regular basis. - Demonstration of commitment to ensure continuous process improvement to achieve efficiency targets. - Ensure procedures are in place to effectively deal with exceptions and that they are reviewed, researched, documented and resolved in a timely manner. - Effective and Strong Communication Skill required for this Management role. Candidate should be able to challenge any client specific customisations - He/ She should be managing client relationships & speaking to stake holder management independently - Ensure all Audits are managed properly and zero findings reported. - Ensure all the documentation is in place w.r.t Risk mitigation and Control. - Ensure all the deliverables of the process are met and timeliness/quality maintained as per the service agreement. - Ensure incident management protocol is followed by self and the team. - Candidate will be responsible for managing team. - He/ She should participate in performance evaluation and Appraisal process - He/ She should be having periodical connect/ meetings with team and ensure communication calendar is followed - He/ She should be responsible for the Succession planning and training needs of team - Ensure team is motivated by following a strong Rewards & Recognition culture. - Manage Hiring requirements of the team. - Lead / Participate and encourage team to participate in various CSR and engagement activities / initiatives of the department / Group - Fostering a positive and engaging team environment, with the ability to motivate and retain team members Contributing Responsibilities - Direct involvement in integrating new business & activities that will be transferred from other 2S locations in line with extreme risk scenario strategy. - Develop strong working relationships with a network of counterparts in other Securities Services Locations and senior Management. - Ensure high level of communication network is established will all the departments within the business group to promote team stability with enhancement of expertise. - Ensure that, client issues/concerns are addressed and resolved within the agreed timelines. Client service review score card should be well maintained and aim to be 4 or above - Ensure high level of service has been delivered to the Clients of BNP Paribas Group. - Defining the Key Performance Indicators for the process and achieving the same on a regular basis. - Manage and reduce operational risk - Continue to develop a strong layer of Middle management and succession planning. - Prioritise the work and conduct investigation with due diligence on all the discrepancies. - Manage staff to take corrective measures/actions. - Must have handled Business Continuity Exercises - Ensure all the necessary training has been provided to the team members to perform the relevant tasks. Technical & Behavioral Competencies - Overall 15+ years plus experience with at least 10 years+ in FA Domain - End to End exposure in Fund Accounting Stream with knowledge of Mutual funds accounting. - Aware of the entire NAV cycle and roles played by different upstream teams. Basic knowledge of upstream teams like Middle office, Pricing, Corporate Action, TA etc. - Interest and Experience in FA Operational Transformation - Knowledge of specific BNP Paribas/Securities Services Control processes and tools - Continue to ensure sufficient Risk & Control process are in place - Continually working towards process improvements and efficiency savings and optimisation of costs - Having proper contingency planning during BCP - Aligning with organization goals - Business Migration Expertise - Adequate understanding of FA System Data Flow - Be able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations - Resources Hiring and Training Skill - Internal and External Audit Management - Candidate should have experience People management, with a proven track record of leading and supervising teams - Exposure to implementation of artificial intelligence tools to support high productivity - The candidate should uphold high level of compliance on conduct topics **Specific Qualifications** Graduates / Postgraduates (M.
