Job Description Reporting of the role This role reports to: Head, Analytics, MD&O 3 best things about the job: • Handling confidential data, providing inputs/guidance to C-suite on decisions that directly impact org strategy & profitability • Immense learning opportunities, freedom to ask the right questions and question answers • Something new every day: wide variety in nature of work requests involving both market & org data – tracking key business deliverables, analyzing market developments (e.g. impact of Disney-Reliance merger, NTO), establishing frameworks (digital IO inflation, prop media benchmarks), tracking media publisher revenue, analyzing viewership/audience trends, etc. In this role, your goals will be: In three months: • Understand the org structure, workflow between WPPM, portfolios and other BUs, your role and set KPIs in discussion with your manager • Get familiar with reports produced by the team and your SOW • Ensure that VLOOKUP's /classification/mapping are maintained properly (i.e. are accurate and updated regularly) In six months: • Review & supervise the team’s tasks & deliverables; ensure 100% data accuracy & 100% adherence to timelines on critical deliverables • Understand how the different types of data maintained by Analytics finds application in company strategy; understand the inter-relations between data In 12 months: • Work independently on tasks, ad-hoc requests without manager’s support • Anticipate problems/issues on the above, think about additional perspectives that may be useful and build it into the solution/deck • Stay updated with industry trends: economy, regulation, media, tech, consumer (audience) trends, etc. • Combine the above to create top quality work: i.e. work that has considered available data, covered all perspectives, triangulated different data points to ratify results (data interpretation/insights) and has attempted to answer as many questions as possible What your day job looks like with Team Analytics: • Reviewing steps followed by the team in data cleaning, compiling & checking – help the team develop logic checks • Working on benchmarks: applying the right logic to arrive at appropriate benchmarks, using market trends/intelligence/other data sources to inform the logic • Inflation: review market & WPPM inflation data to assess YTD inflation • Track key buying metrics, develop new reports/dashboards • Work on short reads/whitepapers that clearly outline the impact of developments in tech/regulatory/consumer behavior on media, and therefore WPPM What you’ll bring: Skill and will!
