**Job Title:** Vice President – Project Manager **Department** : Markets Operations - Valuation & TS - External Reconciliations **About Business line/Function:** Market Operations are divided into 3 product value chains & 3 cross-business departments. Trade Processing – Listed Derivatives, Securities and Prime and FXMM & OTCD Support are the product chains with Cross Business Lifecycle, Collateral & Treasury Forecasting and Liquidity Monitoring and Valuation & Transversal Services being the cross-department functions. We aim to streamline processes, ensure service continuity, deliver best-in-class client service, lead innovative operations and foster expertise and innovation among our teams in a rapidly evolving context. **Position Purpose** : We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and operationally savvy leader to partner with our Reconciliations leadership team as a Project Manager. This is a high‑visibility role that will shape the way Operations function, drive strategic initiatives, and enhance the effectiveness of the Operations organization. The incumbent will work closely with the Reconciliations Operations & IT leads, driving strategic initiatives, operational oversight, and cross‑functional leadership. The incumbent will act as a facilitator and enabler to the Operations lead on a variety of transversal initiatives by coordinating: finance, strategic projects, governance meetings and change management. The incumbent will own the Reconciliations change BOW and work with the Ops & IT teams to drive them to closure. **Responsibilities** Direct Responsibilities Strategic & Executive Support - Track and monitor projects of high importance & critical to the organization, including tracking to budget, effort and deliverable. - Demonstrate strong expertise in operational domain and variety of transversal topics. - Develop, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) - Enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization by delivering regular dashboards and ad‑hoc analyses. - Build and maintain a robust analytics framework to surface actionable insights from operational data - Responsible for communication of key agendas and for ideation to help resolutions. - Provide strategic directions for Reconciliation processes across multiple regions. - Support senior leadership with actionable MIS, Dashboard, and insights on breaks, ageing, and risk exposure. - Drive continues improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency and accuracy. **Project Planning & Execution** - Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria for reconciliation initiatives. - Build detailed work plans, schedules, resource matrices and budgets. - Apply a recognised methodology and monitor progress against milestones. **Stakeholder Management** - Act as the single point of contact for business lines, , IT, risk, compliance etc. - Conduct regular governance meetings, produce status reports and escalations when needed. - Align project outcomes with stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements. **Process & Data Governance** - Map current reconciliation workflows, identify gaps and root cause analyses of mismatches. - Design and implement process enhancements, controls and automation (RPA, data matching engines). - Ensure data lineage, quality standards and auditability are maintained. - Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards - Strengthening controls around reconciliation, exception handling, and escalation protocols **Risk & Compliance** - Assess operational and regulatory risks linked to reconciliation processes. - Coordinate with Risk & Compliance teams to embed controls and meet reporting obligations if any. **Change & Benefits Management** - Develop change management plans, training material and communication strategies for affected teams. - Track and quantify benefits (e.g., reduction in exception volume, improve STP rates, processing time, cost savings). **Technology Liaison** - Work closely with IT/DevOps to define functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new tools. - Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment and post implementation support. - Track all tickets raised, schedule calls for prioritization and track status of tickets with IT and Operations team. **Continuous Improvement** - Foster a culture of continuous improvement; capture lessons learned and embed best practices. - Participate in global forums on reconciliation and operational excellence. **People & Culture** - Lead change‑management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and organizational structures. - Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across locations - Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning - Ensure effective succession planning and talent retention within the team - Monitor operational risks related to Nostro accounts, including aged breaks and unmatched items - Ensure timely escalation and resolution of high-risk items - Drive cost optimization through process improvements, automation, and resource planning - Track and manage key financial and operational metrics **Projects** - Coordinate cross‑functional project teams (Technology, Product, Risk, Finance, Legal) to deliver high‑impact initiatives on time and within budget. - IT outages review and Drive partnership with IT - Lead and deliver transformation initiatives, including automation and system enhancements - Collaborate with technology teams to implement reconciliation tools and digital solutions Manage change initiatives ensuring minimal disruption to BAU operations **Technical & Behavioral Competencies** - 12+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or project management within banking or financial‑services environment. - Experience
