Job Description - -------------- **Job Title:** VP Transformation -- Transformation Expertise **Department:** CEFS Strategy \& Transformation **Location:** Mumbai / Bangalore **Experience Level:** 15 Years **Role Purpose** The individual will be responsible for leading high priority transformation and change management programmes for CIB Operations. They MUST be a seasoned Transformation / Change Management professional for CIB only, with minimum 15 years experience. The successful candidate will independently manage complex programmes with local \& global senior stakeholders, from design through to execution and implementation. **Key Responsibilities** * Programme Leadership: Independently lead and execute end-to-end transformation programs, covering the entire spectrum of ideation, deep numerical analysis and design thinking, to stakeholder validation, implementation and value realization. * Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive roadmaps and frameworks to address complex business challenges and operational inefficiencies. * Executive Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for senior leadership; synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to the Executive Committee/Steering Committees. * Multi-Program Management: Simultaneously run multiple workstreams independently, ensuring synchronization across different departments and managing dependencies to prevent bottlenecks. Prioritization of deliverables and tasks is a critical skill set. * Presentation \& Articulation : Create the analysis and solution documents, presentations and articulate the complex storytelling to senior stakeholders, in order to get buy in and complete deliverables on time. Strong PowerPoint, Power BI and Excel skills. * Tangible Value Delivery: Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics tracked on a weekly basis to demonstrate the tangible financial and operational impact of transformation efforts. * Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex organizational structures to gain buy-in, manage resistance to change, and foster collaboration across diverse business lines. **Experience** **Required Skillset \& Qualifications** * Transformation at Consulting Firm or MNC Bank: Minimum 15 years of experience, of which a significant part MUST relate to CIB Operations transformation, either inhouse at MNC Bank or from a Big 4 / Top Tier Consulting Firm. * Change Management : Firsthand experience in driving projects, change management or transformation initiatives. **Technical \& Soft Skills** * Analytical Ability: Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including advanced excel pivots, macros and data analysis abilities. * Design Thinking : Ability to convert complex problems into structured frameworks. Ability to ideate solutions independently for proposal to senior stakeholders. Ability to convert ideation into solution design and implement it. * AI and Technology Experience : Ability to ideate and integrate AI, automation and technology solutions into each deliverable. AI experience preferred. * Multitasking and Delivery : Ability to deliver to tight deadlines on multiple projects in parallel. * Presentation Skills: Mastery of executive-level storytelling. Ability to create high-impact presentations that distill complex information for senior leadership. * Independence: A self-starter capable of operating with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of deliverables from inception to completion. * Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. **Preferred Attributes** * Minimum of 15 years of experience in Change Management / Transformation for CIB Operations * First-hand experience in driving Inhouse, or, Consulting projects * MBA from a leading institution. **Contributing Responsibilities** * Independently lead transformation programmes, delivering on multiple priorities in parallel * Working together with multiple teams and teams to achieve the firm's transformation vision. * Ability to take accountability and remain agile and perform in a fast-paced environment. * Working closely with stakeholders to re-design process, perform deep analytics and drive collaborative results. **About BNP Paribas Group** BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank and key player in international banking.
