If this excites you, then apply below. **About the role:** Indegene is hiring a Video Editor, a creative and strategic post-production role that blends documentary-style editing, motion design, audio storytelling, and emotional intelligence to craft meaningful, human-centered narratives for global campaigns. This role is ideal for an editor with experience in vérité or documentary-style storytelling, not just marketing or motion content. The editor must be able to identify emotional throughlines from interviews or transcripts and build stories that feel authentic, sensitive, and deeply human, especially in patient-facing content. This includes maintaining a consistent emotional tone across interviews, b-roll, and music, and making editorial choices with empathy, nuance, and clarity. You’ll own projects end-to-end: from interpreting a brief and building storyboards to animating assets, editing footage, adding sound FX, and exporting polished deliverables. You’ll collaborate with copywriters, art directors, creative directors, producers, to bring to life campaigns that simplify complex topics, elevate brand purpose, and humanize healthcare storytelling with creative rigor and strategic awareness. **Key Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities / Major Accountabilities:** **Editing** - Edit interview-driven, human-centered stories with natural rhythm and emotional pacing - Shape coherent narratives from fragmented interviews while preserving truth and continuity - Recognize and elevate unscripted moments that feel real and emotionally resonant - Use b-roll to support meaning, metaphor, and emotional tone, not just to cover cuts - Edit a wide range of formats with priority given to: documentaries, patient stories, docu-style interviews, followed by product explainers, social cutdowns, teasers, and internal content - Manage raw footage, VO, B-roll, music, and overlays to craft compelling narratives - Optimize video for multiple formats and platforms (social, email, internal, web) - Perform clean-up, stabilization, audio sync, and version control **Animation & Motion Graphics** - Concept, design and animate 2D motion graphics, including explainer videos, transitions, intros/outros, title sequences, and kinetic infographics. - Build visual systems for animation aligned with brand guidelines. - Translate complex content into clear animated visuals, using storytelling techniques. - Animate typography or brand iconography. - Integrate animation seamlessly into edited footage. **Creative Development & Storyboarding** - Interpret scripts and briefs to develop visual concepts and storyboards - Find and articulate the emotional spine of the story early in the process - Collaborate with art direction and copy to shape the narrative arc - Identify what to simplify, what to remove, and what to protect to preserve authenticity - Present visual references and animatics to align creative vision **Audio & Post-Production** - Edit, mix and enhance audio tracks: voiceover, ambient sound, SFX, background music. - Sync audio with visuals to create dynamic rhythm and emotional impact. **Color Grading & Finishing** - Perform color correction and color grading to ensure consistency, mood and brand alignment. - Export clean, high-quality deliverables with appropriate compression and specs. **Collaboration & Compliance** - Work closely with brand leads, producers, medical/commercial stakeholders, and content strategists - Navigate MLR workflows with clarity: versioning, timestamping, annotations, and metadata - Understand brand, medical, and legal constraints, and edit within them without losing emotional clarity or story integrity - Maintain organized project files and adhere to global accessibility and branding standards **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Multimedia Design, or Visual Communication. **Experience:** 4+ years of experience working in creative teams, advertising agencies, or in-house video/design departments. **Skills & Qualifications** **Software Expertise** - **Premiere Pro:** advanced video editing and multicam workflows. - **After Effects:** motion graphics, animation rigging, expressions, templates. - **Adobe Audition** (or similar): audio clean-up, mixing and sound design. - Familiarity with **Photoshop** , **Illustrator** and **InDesign** for asset prep and layout. **Creative & Technical Skills** - Strong knowledge of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm and transitions. - Ability to create clean, layered project files for collaboration and review. - Experience building motion systems for consistency across brands - Basic understanding of formats, codecs, compression
