**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **VMware Kubernetes Administrator** responsible for managing, administering, and supporting enterprise VMware infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes clusters, virtualization technologies, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation. The candidate will ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of the virtualized and containerized environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Administer and manage VMware vSphere environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, clusters, HA, DRS, and vMotion. - Deploy, configure, and support Kubernetes clusters on VMware Tanzu or upstream Kubernetes platforms. - Perform installation, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting of VMware and Kubernetes environments. - Manage containerized workloads, namespaces, ingress controllers, storage classes, and persistent volumes. - Configure and maintain VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) and Tanzu Mission Control (preferred). - Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure platform availability and reliability. - Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. - Work closely with application, DevOps, cloud, and security teams to support containerized deployments. - Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, storage, and cluster-related issues. - Automate administrative tasks using PowerCLI, PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts. - Implement security best practices for VMware and Kubernetes platforms. - Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
