**Required Information** **Details** 1 Role -Nutanix Administrator 2 Required Technical Skill Set - Windows, Vmware, Nutanix 3 Desired Experience Range -8 to 10 yrs 4 Location of Requirement - Chennai **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have** **(Ideally it should not be more than 3-7)** - Must have strong knowledge of Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and VMware virtual environments. - Proven hands-on experience with Nutanix networking, including network configuration and troubleshooting. - Solid experience managing Nutanix storage containers, including creation, optimization, and maintenance. - Hands-on expertise in Nutanix AOS (Acropolis OS) and AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor). - Demonstrated experience performing AOS and AHV upgrades and patching in production environments. - Strong hands-on experience in virtual machine (VM) migration between Nutanix clusters, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. - Co-ordinate with customers / other teams/vendors in resolving requests and incidents. - Providing support for BAU activities for 24\\*7 - Adhering to the ITIL Process - Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate with customers across geographies **Good-to-Have** - Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers. - Must possess L3-level expertise in VMware domains, including advanced troubleshooting and escalation handling. - Strong experience in vendor case management and follow-ups, including working with VMware Support (SR lifecycle, logs, RCA). - Hands-on experience with offline and online VM migration between two VMware clusters (vMotion / cold migration). - Proven experience performing ESXi host patching and upgrades in production environments. - Hands-on expertise in vCenter Server patching and upgrades, including pre-checks, rollback planning, and post-validation. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1 1. Providing technical leadership and assume overall accountability for the successful management and implementation of customer projects. 2. Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all virtual hardware, resources, systems and key processes. 3. Performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to expedite incident resolution. 4. Developing scripts to gain efficiencies for reporting and automating repetitive tasks. 5.
