**Role : Vmware VrOps Engineer - L3** **Experience : 10 to 15 years** **Location : Chn/Hyd/Blr** **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have** 1. Ability to provide L3 level Operational support for below VMware Platforms VMWare ESXi, VMWare vcenter, VMWare NSX, VMWare vROps, VMWare SRM 2. Experience in managing DR Replications through SRM and Zerto 3. Creating and managing the Recovery plans and triggering DR tests and failover exercises as per Business needs **Good-to-Have** 1. Managing Datastores and VM Snapshots 2. Experience in ESXi Upgrades SN **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1 Managing the VMWare tools and ensuring regular updates across hosts and guests 2 Managing Network Traffic across vCenters with NSX 3 Upgrading the Firmware of ESX Hosts and Underlying Server Chassis as applicable and needed 4 Performance monitoring, identifying, and fixing the root causes for performance bottlenecks with necessary collaboration with other teams as needed 5 Understanding of Security vulnerability and ability to mitigate the reported security issues 6 Working with OEM vendors as needed
