Qualifications, Experience, Education: 8-12 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree – Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ IT Information Technology Skills: Required Technical Experience and Skills: Thorough Windows/Linux/Unix system administration knowledge Experience with network and system monitoring protocols, SNMP, syslog, ICMP, WMI, perfmon, etc. Scripting and automation (Python, Perl, Shell, PowerShell, Java, etc.) proficiency Experience with SIEMs such as Splunk, Google SecOps Experience with monitoring tools, such as Datadog, SCOM Knowledge of information security principles, theories and concepts, plus advanced knowledge of current systems, networks, or specialized security technologies. Hands-on experience in designing, engineering, and implementing internet facing infrastructure and defining security strategies, such as: o Data Loss Protection o DNS/DHCP o Load Balancing (Local and Global) Understanding of TCP/IP Excellent communication skills and be comfortable working closely with senior business partners, including advance presentation skills Ability to build efficient internal relationships and communicate extensively with key internal stakeholders Experience to lead and manage projects involving senior technical individual contributors Ability to provide functional and strategic guidance to staff and recommend policy or strategic direction changes to management Ability to drive consistent and repeatable results Ability to provide overall technical project planning for product enhancements
