**Job Title:** Vice President – Financial Reporting **Department** : ISO **About Business line/Function:** Financial Reporting **Position Purpose:** Financial Reporting operation / production **Responsibilities** Direct Responsibilities - To ensure the production of statutory reporting as annual and semi-annual reports and specific reports if required by the client (as quarterly report), also liquidation report, merger report, dissolution report if requested, in respect of legal delays. - To elaborate and manage the delivery timetable along with the team - To ensure the Financial Statement is issued in an accurate way, controls are executed. - To complete the checklist in which the controls have been defined and are formalized. - To perform the second review of Financial Statements prepared by a third party within the team. - To respect the production deadlines: draft and final version deliveries. - To request all supporting documents from the clients. - To consider, analyze and/or apply the comments from the auditors and clients. - To apply the specific rules of the registered countries, and the rules of the countries where the funds are distributed. - To manage the requests/information received in the common e-mail inbox. - The role requires strong Organizational and People Management skills - Strong technical understanding of Financial Reporting / Fund Services functions is expected. VP will be responsible for oversight, review, and allocations of day-to-day Business - Candidate will be accountable to create appropriate mindset across team to follow conduct and compliance protocols with zero breaches. - Strictly adhere to Key Performance Indicators for the process and achieving the same on a regular basis. - Demonstration of commitment to ensure continuous process improvement to achieve efficiency targets. - Ensure procedures are in place to effectively deal with exceptions and that they are reviewed, researched, documented and resolved in a timely manner. - Effective and Strong Communication Skill required for this Management role. Candidate should be able to challenge any client specific customizations - should be managing client relationships & speaking to stakeholder management independently - Ensure all Audits are managed properly and zero findings reported. - Ensure all the documentation is in place w.r.t Risk mitigation and Control. - Ensure incident management protocol is followed by self and the team. - Fostering a positive and engaging team environment, with the ability to motivate and retain team members Contributing Responsibilities - Direct involvement in integrating new business & activities that will be transferred from other 2S locations in line with extreme risk scenario strategy. - Develop strong working relationships with a network of counterparts in other Securities Services Locations and senior Management. - Ensure high level of communication network is established will all the departments within the business group to promote team stability with enhancement of expertise. - Ensure that, client issues/concerns are addressed and resolved within the agreed timelines. Client service review score card should be well maintained and aim to be 4 or above - Ensure high level of service has been delivered to the Clients of BNP Paribas Group. - Defining the Key Performance Indicators for the process and achieving the same on a regular basis. - Manage and reduce operational risk - Continue to develop a strong layer of Middle management and succession planning. - Prioritize the work and conduct investigation with due diligence on all the discrepancies. - Manage staff to take corrective measures/actions. - Must have handled Business Continuity Exercises - Ensure all the necessary training has been provided to the team members to perform the relevant tasks. Technical & Behavioral Competencies - Overall 15+ years plus experience with at least 10 years+ in FR Domain - End to End exposure in Financial Reporting Stream with knowledge of Mutual funds accounting. - Knowledge of NADI platform and MFFA - Aware of the entire NAV cycle and roles played by different upstream teams.
