**AWS Cloud Architect Job Description** **Job Summary:** We are looking for an experienced **AWS Cloud Architect** with strong expertise in **AWS Landing Zone implementation** and **end-to-end cloud migration projects**. The candidate should have hands-on experience in migrating workloads from **On-Premises and VMware environments to AWS Cloud** and designing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement AWS cloud architectures based on business requirements. - Create and manage AWS Landing Zones using AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, IAM, and security governance services. - Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects from On-Premises to AWS. - Perform VMware to AWS cloud migrations using AWS migration tools and best practices. - Design and implement AWS networking, security, and multi-account strategies. - Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization of AWS environments. - Work closely with application, infrastructure, and business teams throughout migration and transformation projects. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience as AWS Cloud Architect/Solutions Architect. - Hands-on experience in AWS Landing Zone creation and governance. - Extensive experience in On-Premises to AWS and VMware to AWS migrations. - Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Lambda. - Experience with AWS Migration Hub, AWS MGN, DMS, and DataSync. - Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure automation. **Preferred Certifications:** - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional - AWS Certified Security Specialty (Preferred) **Experience:** - 8+ years of IT experience. - 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Architecture experience. - Proven experience in AWS Landing Zone implementation and end-to-end cloud migration projects.
