Job description

Role: Azure Data Engineer Required Technical Skill Set: Microsoft Fabric/Synpaze/ADB, Azure Data Factory, PySpark/Scala, SQL, Microsoft Purview Desired Experience Range: 7to 10 years Location: Hyderabad **Desired** **Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have\\*\\*** **(Ideally** **should not be more than 3-7)** - Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse - Hands-on with PySpark or Scala - Good command on SQL for querying and transformations - Worked with Azure Data Factory pipelines - Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for metadata and lineage - Basic understanding of data quality and metadata enrichment - Experience working in DevOps / CI-CD model Good-to-Have Knowledge of Delta Lake / OneLake Exposure to Power BI and Copilot-based reports Experience with HR domain data (e.g., KYT, MODIS) Understanding of Responsible AI and data governance. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** **1** Analyse, design and implement the requirements **2** Create POCs (Proof of concept) whenever required **3** Work on Change Requests, User stories, Bugs and tasks in the Sprints **4** Co-ordinate and work with different external/internal teams to analyse the requirements and close any gaps. **5** Perform testing and provide support to resolve any bugs that are identified in Dev, Test & Production Environments. **6** Take ownership of deployment and work in devops model **7** Participate in Design discussions and provide inputs on the new requirements **8** Document all client deliverables and update the existing documentation for all minor CRs .
