Dear Candidates, **Job Title: Senior Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) & Entra ID** **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Experience Level:** 5 -8 Years **Note: Only candidates who have received the interview call letter are required to attend the face-to-face interview** **Job Overview**We are seeking a skilled and proactive **Azure VDI & Identity Engineer** to design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in modern cloud identity management via **Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)**, hybrid identity integrations, and virtual desktop delivery models. You will ensure high performance, security compliance, and seamless user experiences across virtualized Windows workloads. **Key ResponsibilitiesAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Administration** - **Infrastructure Management:** Design, configure, and maintain AVD host pools, application groups, workspaces, and scaling plans. - **Golden Images:** Create, test, update, and optimize master/gold images for Windows 10/11 multi-session and single-session environments. - **Profile Management:** Implement and troubleshoot FSLogix profile containers for reliable and resilient user profile virtualization. - **Performance & Cost Optimization:** Monitor virtual machine performance, resource bottlenecks, and manage dynamic auto-scaling rules to optimize Azure compute and storage spend. **Microsoft Entra ID & Identity Management** - **Identity Integration:** Integrate AVD session hosts with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or hybrid Active Directory domain architectures. - **Access Control:** Enforce security policies using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies mapped specifically to AVD sign-ins. - **Identity Governance:** Manage user assignments, enterprise application provisioning, and lifecycle management within the Microsoft Entra admin center. **Automation & Troubleshooting** - **Scripting:** Automate routine configuration tasks, scaling triggers, and image deployments using **PowerShell** and Azure CLI. - **Incident Management:** Resolve L2/L3 escalations related to connection flows, user profile corruption, sign-in token failures, and application compatibility issues. - **Monitoring:** Utilize Azure Monitor and Log Analytics workspaces to track telemetry, session reliability, and system health metrics. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - **Experience:** 4+ years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically focusing on end-user computing (EUC) and virtual desktop technologies. - **AVD / VDI Mastery:** Deep working knowledge of AVD control plane architecture, session hosts, and load-balancing algorithms. - **Identity Proficiencies:** Proven competence in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC assignment scopes, and Azure security defaults. - **Profile & Packaging:** Expertise in FSLogix configuration, tuning, and container redirection. - **Automation:** Strong proficiency in writing and debugging **PowerShell scripts** for cloud resource management. - **Networking & Security:** Fundamental understanding of Azure VNets, Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), private endpoints, and DNS configurations affecting VDI performance. **If you are interested, please send me your updated resume** **jobinv1@hexaware.com** **Please register using the Microsoft Form.** **https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/itjb31FF1v** **Please register using the Microsoft Form.
