**Rol** **Section III - Job Requirements and Responsibilities** **Section** **Details / Example Content** **Job Requirements\\*** - 512 years of experience in enterprise data protection or backup architecture. - Strong expertise in Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery. - Experience deploying backup solutions across multiple global regions. - Deep understanding of DDB architecture, performance tuning, and storage backends. - Handson experience with Hyperscale X appliances. - Solid knowledge of VMware environment protection strategies. - Experience with WANoptimized backup configurations. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts related to backups. **Key Responsibilities\\*** - Architect and deploy Commvault solutions for large, distributed enterprise environments (2000+ clients). - Design CommServe, Media Agent, DDB layout, and global deployment topology. - Lead endtoend implementation, migration, configuration, and validation activities. - Develop deployment playbooks, runbooks, and architecture diagrams. - Perform health checks, scalability assessments, failover testing, and performance optimization. - Perform detailed sizing for Media Agents, Disk Libraries, DDBs, and storage pools. - Optimize deduplication engine performance based on client count and data types. - Forecast storage consumption, retention needs, and DDB growth across global sites. - Evaluate and recommend licensing models based on data workloads and business needs. - Track license usage, capacity trends, and compliance. **e & responsibilities** **Preferred candidate profile**
