Job description

**Role & responsibilities** 1) This position is for mentioned position in below aggregates a) Front strut and dampers b) Springs and ARB c) Twist beam/blade d) Frames/Sub frames e) Control arms and ball joints 2) The candidate would be working in the Suspension team and contribute towards design and development of the mentioned aggregates having below job description a) 2D/3D CAD creation in Creo and release in compatible life cycle management system b) Packaging study and integration of the aggregate c) Test car/sample build along with supplier/proto team and resolution of related issues d) Work on field/manufacturing issues and its resolution e) Life cycle management of the aggregates. **Preferred candidate profile** 1) Work experience and knowledge to contribute in domain of McPherson strut, Dampers, Twist beam/blade, ARB, Frames/sub frame, Wheel end & its Bearing and suspension integration, 2) Support prepeartion of RFQ's, specification sheets, DVP and DFMEA 3) DMU & Packaging in Proe Creo. Initial Concept layout Preparation 4) Apply GD & T 5) Work in PLM, to release TPL and change management tools like DML ,ECN, DCR, spare parts usage. 6) Apply past knowledge Manufacturing and Assembly processes in design (Welding, Sheet metal forming, casting, forging, machining, injection & blow moulding etc) 7) Cater to part fitment and serviceability in design 8) Estimate system weight through CAD and packaging 9) Prepare Knowledge management( KM) document as per on the job learning 10) Support for creation of Design rule & Design calculations for domain area Skills : Primarily Skill : Good interpersonal communication, knowledge of product development, proficient in issue resolution and problem solving, Secondary Skill : 2d/3D CAD in Creo, Product design & development. DFMEA, DFM, DFA, 4D, Awareness of types & working principle of suspension, wheel end & wheels & tyres. **Perks and benefits** Must have : Must be having working knowledge of subject suspension system, its functioning and integration Preferred to have : Should have awareness of other chassis systems and its integration with full vehicle system.
