Copy editors are the most important link between the author and the readers giving final touch to the book/journal article in terms of its content by paying attention to language, styling, spelling, grammar, punctuation, headings, styling and formatting of references. Indexing work, if known, is an added advantage. **Roles and Responsibilities** - Enhance authors text to improve the overall readability of research articles. - Eye for detail to identify poorly written text. - Check for language grammar and in-house style (capitalization, spaces, quotation marks, dashes, vocabulary and spellings etc.) using tools - Improving text flow. - Raise author queries where required and incorporate changes accordingly. **Desired Candidate Profile** - Educational qualification - UG/PG - Any science background - Effective English communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills. - Flexible to work in rotational shift - 6AM to 1:30PM and 1:30PM to 8:45PM(No night shit).
