**Dear Candidate ,** **We have planned WALK IN DRIVE @Tata Technologies Pune ,HNJ ,Phase 1.** **Designatio**n -Purchase Engineer. **Education** -BE/B. tech /M. tech **Location** -Pune . **Role & responsibilities** - Understanding requirements in details & identifying potential vendors based on the past data. - Study of drawing in detail, identify manufacturing processes, ensuring correctness of proto estimates based on the standard templates. Interactions with Planning team, QA & engineering to ensure quality of incoming material and hence controlling PPM level. Ensuring timely delivery of aggregates and materials within stipulated time and cost targets. Review on open commitment and taking appropriate actions on short closure purchase orders. - Exploring new technology for proto development. Ensuring all legal compliances related to Purchase orders. Understanding DOA/SOA. In-depth knowledge of SAP & hands on experience of PLM system.Strong knowledge of commercials, negotiation skills, Automotive domain and manufacturing processes. Knowledge on TRSO(Technical review & sign off) - Study drawing in detail & Scrutiny based on commodity, & identification of potential vendors. Floating RFQs for all electrical, mechanical, etc aggregates and sound domain knowledge of aggregate development in this area. TML proto estimate to arrive at should be cost & technical discussion with vendor, finalization of TRSO with all stake holders. Procurement of First time right material. Anticipation and proactive approach for prototype vehicle manufacturing Understanding requirement, overall proto development and meeting all timelines Monitoring progress on parts timelines & taking corrective actions. Aligning the resources based on requirements. - Primarily Skill :Commodity knowledge - Trims, Plastics/sheet metal/Proprietory parts, Indepeth knowledge on processes, SAP, Negotiation skill Secondary Skill :VAVE,Vendor mentoring,Team management, IPR & Patents Domain Knowledge- Must have :Technical expertise, knowledge on sheet metal commodity ,latest trend in the technology, process development, new parts development, Market scenarios Preferred to have : SAP knowledge,Commercial compliances on statutory requirements like GST, etc
