Venue details Date:4th July 2026 Timing: 9:00 Am-1:00 PM Location: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, 2GGW+45J, Yeshwanthpur Industrial Suburb, Yeswanthpur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560022 Job Description - 5+ years of dedicated engineering experience in enterprise-scale data centers, acting as the Tier-3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business-critical file and block storage infrastructure. - Master-level proficiency in NetApp ONTAP 9.x CLI and GUI, clustered Data ONTAP (cDOT) architectures, Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs), and logical routing. - Implementation of Storage and its configurations end to end - Advanced knowledge of Fibre Channel (FC) protocol mapping, non-blocking fabric designs, World Wide Name (WWN) addressing, and N-Port ID Virtualization (NPIV). - Direct hands-on administration experience with secondary/other enterprise storage systems, including IBM System Storage arrays, legacy tape automation devices (e.g., IBM TS3200 Library), and IBM , HP storage systems. - Advanced understanding of storage geometry alignment, write amplification avoidance, and application-specific formatting rules - Experience integrating storage endpoints with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi), backup frameworks (Veeam Backup & Replication), and identity providers (Active Directory/LDAP/OIDC). **Disaster Recovery &** **Resilience ]** - Design, test, and manage enterprise replication pipelines using synchronous/asynchronous SnapMirror and long-term SnapVault protection topologies. - Author and validate step-by-step disaster recovery runbooks, managing target SVM activations, storage path re-mappings, and snapshot-level data restorations - Architect, deploy, and configure multi-node NetApp ONTAP clusters, creating isolated Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs) and provisioning aggregate pools. - Execute advanced SAN fabric configuration on Brocade switches, implementing peer zoning, single-initiator/multiple-target zoning definitions, and WWN bindings. - Provision and maintain secure storage connection endpoints using native Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, NFS (v3/v4), and SMB/CIFS block and file layouts. - Manage volume allocations, qtrees, quotas, and automated space-guarantee policies across global storage pools. - Implement and monitor ONTAP data reduction features, optimizing compression, inline deduplication, compaction, and fabric tiering to object storage. - Maintain security compliance over storage planes, managing NetApp export policies, share permissions, volume encryption (NVE/NAE), and Brocade administrative role allocations. - Troubleshoot microsecond-level latency spikes, queue depth bottlenecks, and I/O degradation patterns using ONTAP CLI diagnostics and Active IQ Unified Manager. - Debug SAN fabric connectivity issues, bit errors, and frame drops by analyzing Brocade switch logs, registers, and SFP transceiver light levels. - Configure and troubleshoot host-side asymmetric logical unit access (ALUA) routing rules and multipath I/O (MPIO) drivers to guarantee seamless path failovers. - Plan and execute non-disruptive storage migrations across frames utilizing NetApp Volume Move, SnapMirror, or host-level logical volume managers.
