**POSITION\\_SUMMARY** A senior level engineer with experience in supporting Oracle databases on production environment . Role involves performing operational activities which includes administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, change requests . It is an operational role for Oracle database & Goldengate support for all the Enterprise-wide applications. The team provides Incident, Change and Request management support for the application using Oracle databases . In addition, this team does triage, service restoral, facilitation and co-ordination of root cause identification and permanent fix resolution. **Primary Skill: Oracle** **database administration** **Job Description** - Responsible to handle the mission critical Oracle production databases and break fix the issues occurred in Production and Non-Production - Responsible to handle Changes in the production - Should be able to do Goldengate monitoring/configuration tasks - Should be able to work on OEM monitoring tools - Knowledge on Exadata and Performance Tuning is preferred - Should be able to analyze the root cause and follow the ways to provide the permanent fix. - He/ She should be familiar with handling client calls and customer issues. - Good Hands-on Production environment to handle issues. - Resolving critical issues on the fly. - Support application teams around messaging functionalists. - Excellent Communication skills both written spoken - Working in shifts and exploring the process related infrastructure quickly.
