Position Name: Paint Shop - Design Engineer Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Production / Automotive / Design) Technical Skills: - Paint Shop Tool and Hanger Design - Knowledge of Painting process - Knowledge of Sealant, chemicals and consumables - Knowledge of tools and guns for painting -Knowledge of Various Automotive Standards (VW / Audi / BMW / Peugeot / TML / Chrysler / Daimler) Tool Skills: - Catia V5 - NX - AutoCAD -MS Projects Special Requirements: - Worked with Global Automotive Clients - Knowledge of CATIA Modelling Standards used by above Auto OEMs Job Description: - Paint Shop layout - Cycle time study - Define Process flow and Documentation - BOM - Workstation design - Layout flow and simulation - Concept Design - Technical Specification - Time estimations -Cost target adherence Job Responsibilities: - Paint Shop Process Planning - Quality Checks as per Standards - Deliverable sign-off - Process Planning and layout reviews with Customer - Customer prescribed Documentation -Knowledge Sharing and documentation
