Job description

Role: Senior Power BI Developer | Experience: 7+ years | Location: Bangalore, Hybrid • Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise BI solutions using Power BI Desktop, Service, Gateway, and Report Builder. • Build governed semantic models, Star/Snowflake schemas, KPIs, advanced DAX, Power Query transformations, drill-throughs, and performant dashboards. • Write and tune complex SQL using CTEs, joins, window functions, procedures, aggregations, and execution plans. • Integrate and reconcile Hive, Impala, HDFS, Hadoop/Cloudera, SFTP, Parquet, and CSV data. • Apply incremental refresh, RLS, query folding, aggregations, storage modes, gateway administration, deployment, and workspace governance. • Diagnose data-quality, refresh, connectivity, and performance issues through durable root-cause fixes. • Demonstrate strong coding, data-warehousing, testing, documentation, and analytical fundamentals. • Communicate clearly, challenge assumptions constructively, work independently, and translate ambiguity into outcomes. • Own customer-facing delivery with a Forward Deployed Engineer mindset: adaptable, hands-on, rapid, pragmatic, and accountable. • Use Claude, Cursor, and Copilot responsibly for development, testing, automation, and documentation
