This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform business requirements into scalable dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions.** **Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is** **an individual one or part of a team):** **1. Design and develop interactive dashboards, paginated reports, and visualizations using Power BI.** **2. Create efficient data models, custom measures, and calculations using DAX.** **3. Develop Power Query (M) transformations for data preparation and cleansing.** **4. Implement row-level security (RLS), data governance, and data validation.** **5. Improve data consistency, performance, and scalability across BI layers.** **6. Optimize dataset performance with incremental refresh, aggregations, index usage, and query folding.** **7. Implement best practices in DAX performance tuning.** **8. Work with large datasets and ensure best-in-class performance in Power BI Service.** **9. Tableau to Power BI migration relevant skillsets/expertise** **10. Internal & external stakeholder management** **Key Skills/Knowledge:** **11. Expert-level knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service** **12. Advanced knowledge in DAX, Power Query (M language)** **13. Expert knowledge in complex SQL query build** **14. Dashboard design, performance optimization, security** **15. Python or R for advanced analytics** **16.
