Walk-in || Process Engineer

Job description

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a Process Engineer with hands-on experience in SMT and FATP processes in the EMS/electronics manufacturing industry. The role will be responsible for process optimization, yield improvement, troubleshooting, RCA, NPI support, process documentation and continuous improvement across SMT and final assembly operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handle and optimize SMT and FATP manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality and yield targets. - Monitor SMT line processes including solder paste printing, SPI, Pick & Place, reflow and AOI. - Develop and maintain process parameters, work instructions, SOPs and process documentation. - Analyze process defects and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D. - Drive yield improvement, defect reduction, OEE improvement and process optimization. - Support NPI, pilot builds, product transfer and mass production ramp-up. - Handle FATP assembly processes, including fixtures, torque control, ESD requirements, functional testing and packing. - Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, NPI and Testing teams for process-related issues. **Candidate Profile** - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline. - 3 to 8 years in EMS / Electronics Manufacturing. - Strong hands-on experience in SMT & FATP processes. - Knowledge of PCB assembly, reflow, SPI/AOI, soldering and assembly processes.
