Job description

- Must have total 5+ yrs. in IT and 3+ years' experience working as a snowflake developer • Must have experience at least two end to end development experience of Snowflake cloud data warehouse • Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake Developing scripts Unix, Python, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures. • In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modeling structure principles • Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling. • Experience in Azure technologies & Azure Data Factory **Good-to-Have** • Experience with Azure data storage and management technologies such as ADLS • Develop code supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management • Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting • & Python • Certified in Snowflake (Desirable). • Must have experience of Agile development methodologies • Strong written communication skills. Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication **SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1 Hands-on working knowledge of Snowflake Architecture 2 Person should be good with Data transformation 3 designing, implementing and testing cloud computing solutions using Snowflake technology 4 creating, monitoring and optimization of ETL/ELT processes 5 migrating solutions from on-premises to public cloud platforms. 6 good knowledge of SQL language and data warehousing concepts
