Position: System Architecture & Diagnostics Engineer Experience: 3 to 6 Years Location: Pune Education: B.E. / B. Tech Role Summary The EV Field Diagnostics & Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for monitoring field vehicle complaints, providing technical support for issue resolution, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring timely closure of customer complaints. The role requires strong expertise in electric vehicle systems, vehicle diagnostics, CAN/UDS protocols, HV systems, and technical reporting. Key Responsibilities - Monitor field vehicle complaints and provide proactive support for resolution of vehicle issues. - Analyze and prioritize complaints, ensuring timely closure within defined TAT. - Coordinate with internal teams, service centers, field agencies, and stakeholders for issue resolution. - Perform vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify faults and corrective actions. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for vehicle-related issues and prepare technical reports. - Identify emerging failure modes and provide feedback to engineering and product development teams. - Track issue resolution progress and ensure effective closure of field cases. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending corrective and preventive actions. Required Technical Skills - Good understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and architectures. - Hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding. - Knowledge of **CAN, UDS, and vehicle communication protocols**. - Understanding of **VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) development and High Voltage (HV) systems**. - Experience with vehicle diagnostic tools, equipment, and testing methodologies. - Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and technical problem-solving skills. - Technical reporting and documentation skills. Preferred Skills - Experience in automotive field quality, service engineering, or technical support. - Knowledge of EV subsystems such as Battery Management System (BMS), Power Electronics, and Charging Systems. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive issue resolution.
