**Company:** Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) **Role:** Office 365 Administrator (O365 Admin) **Experience:** 810 Years **Location:** Sholinganallur, Chennai **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an experienced **Office 365 Administrator** to manage and support enterprise Messaging Infrastructure, Exchange environments, and Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Exchange On-Premises, Office 365 Administration, Microsoft Teams, Azure, Active Directory, and cloud migration projects. The role involves administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, migration, and optimization of enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms while ensuring high availability, security, and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Exchange & Messaging Administration - Administer, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange On-Premises environments. - Monitor and maintain messaging infrastructure performance and availability. - Manage mailbox administration, mail flow, transport rules, and Exchange services. - Utilize Exchange Management Shell and PowerShell for administration and automation tasks. Office 365 Administration - Plan, manage, and support Microsoft 365 (O365) environments and users. - Manage O365 tenant administration, user provisioning, and licensing. - Administer Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other M365 services. - Ensure platform stability, performance, and security. Migration & Cloud Services - Lead and support Office 365 migration projects including: - Cutover Migration - Staged Migration - Support hybrid Exchange and cloud transformation initiatives. - Work with Azure services and cloud-based infrastructure components. - Collaborate with business and technical teams during migration and deployment activities. User Support & Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: - Microsoft Teams - Outlook - Exchange Online - Mail Flow - User Access - O365 Services - Coordinate with Microsoft Support and manage support cases as required. - Analyze system logs and user-reported issues to identify root causes and resolutions. Security & Compliance - Support messaging security solutions including Trustwave Secure Email Gateway (SEG). - Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and standards. - Manage access controls, security configurations, and email protection mechanisms. - Support audit and compliance activities. Maintenance & Operations - Perform periodic maintenance, system health checks, and patch management activities. - Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address issues. - Ensure high availability and operational efficiency of messaging platforms. - Maintain backup and recovery procedures for supported environments. Documentation & ITSM - Log and track all activities using ticketing and ITSM tools. - Create and maintain: - SOPs - Runbooks - Technical Documentation - Knowledge Base Articles - Follow ITIL processes including: - Incident Management - Problem Management - Change Management - Service Request Management Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills - 810 years of IT experience with at least in Messaging and Collaboration Technologies. - Strong experience in: - Microsoft Exchange On-Premises - Exchange Online - Microsoft Office 365 Administration - Microsoft Teams - Outlook Support - Working knowledge of: - Windows Server 2016 Administration - Active Directory - Azure Cloud Services - O365 Licensing - Experience with: - Exchange Management Shell - PowerShell Online - Trustwave SEG - Understanding of: - Networking Fundamentals - Network Security - Database Concepts - Backup and Recovery Systems Soft Skills - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment. - Willingness to learn new technologies and take ownership of critical tasks. Good-to-Have Skills - Experience assessing the stability, security, and scalability of Exchange and O365 environments. - Knowledge of: - CyberArk - ServiceNow - Hybrid Exchange Environments - Email Security Solutions - Experience in enterprise cloud transformation projects.
