**Company:** Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) **Role:** EUC Tanium Administrator **Experience:** 6-8 Years **Location:** Sholinganallur, Chennai **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an experienced **EUC Tanium Administrator** to manage, optimize, and support enterprise endpoint management environments using the Tanium platform. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in endpoint management, software deployment, patch management, automation, troubleshooting, and ITSM processes across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. The role involves administering Tanium infrastructure, automating endpoint operations, driving compliance initiatives, and ensuring endpoint health and security across a large enterprise landscape. Key Responsibilities Tanium Administration & Platform Management - Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Tanium infrastructure across enterprise environments. - Administer and optimize core Tanium modules including: - Tanium Deploy - Tanium Patch - Tanium Interact - Tanium Connect - Tanium Asset - Tanium Comply - Manage platform health, performance, and scalability. Endpoint Management - Support and manage enterprise endpoints across: - Windows - macOS - Linux - Monitor endpoint health and ensure agent stability. - Troubleshoot endpoint performance and deployment issues. Software Deployment & Patch Management - Develop and manage software deployment packages and patching policies. - Deploy applications using various installer formats including: - MSI - MSIX - EXE - Remediate deployment failures and patching issues through log analysis and advanced troubleshooting. - Ensure timely patch compliance and security updates across the organization. Automation & Scripting - Develop automated workflows using: - Tanium Connect - Tanium Interact - Tanium Deploy - Create scripts and automation solutions using: - PowerShell - Bash - Streamline endpoint administration and operational processes. Security & Compliance Management - Utilize Tanium modules for vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation. - Coordinate vulnerability triage and remediation activities. - Support compliance audits, security reviews, and governance requirements. - Enforce endpoint security policies and configuration standards. Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Use Tanium for real-time endpoint monitoring, telemetry collection, and troubleshooting. - Investigate and resolve endpoint-related incidents and recurring issues. - Analyze logs and system data to proactively identify operational concerns. ITSM & Process Compliance - Adhere to ITIL-based processes including: - Incident Management - Problem Management - Change Management - Configuration Management - Participate in change reviews and ensure controlled implementation of endpoint changes. Documentation & Knowledge Management - Create and maintain: - Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Runbooks - Technical Documentation - Knowledge Base Articles - Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and train internal teams on Tanium capabilities and best practices. Required Skills & Experience - 68 years of experience in Endpoint Management, EUC Administration, or Workplace Services. - Hands-on experience administering the **Tanium Platform** in enterprise environments. - Strong knowledge of: - Windows Operating Systems - macOS Operating Systems - Windows Registry - Windows Services - Command-Line Administration - Expertise in software packaging and deployment technologies. - Experience troubleshooting deployment failures, patching issues, and endpoint-related incidents. - Hands-on scripting experience with: - PowerShell - Bash - Ability to analyze and resolve complex endpoint issues across large-scale environments. - Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with: - Microsoft SCCM / MECM - Microsoft Intune - JAMF - Other EUC Management Platforms - Knowledge of endpoint compliance and vulnerability management. - Experience working in large enterprise IT environments. - Understanding of security frameworks and endpoint governance.
