**Job Title:-Microsoft 365 (O365) Consultant / Engineer** **Experience:-** 6 10 Years **Location:-** Chennai(Project-based / Hybrid / On-call as required) **Department:-**Information Technology (IT) – Cloud / M365 Administration **Job Summary** TCS is looking for an experienced **Microsoft 365 (O365) Consultant/Engineer** with strong expertise in **Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and cloud migration**. The candidate will design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale M365 environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role involves solution design, migration, identity management, and stakeholder collaboration in large enterprise environments. **Key Responsibilities** 1. M365 Solution Design & Implementation - Design, develop, and implement **Microsoft 365 (O365) solutions** including Proof of Concepts (POCs) - Drive architecture for **Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams** 2. Migration & Deployment - Plan and execute **end-to-end O365 migrations** from on-prem to cloud - Handle **Exchange (2010/2013) to Exchange Online migrations**, including hybrid environments - Support large-scale enterprise migrations across **AD, Exchange, SharePoint, and file shares** 3. Identity & Access Management - Design and manage identity solutions using: - **Active Directory (AD)** - **Azure AD** - **ADFS & Directory Sync (DirSync)** - Implement **conditional access policies and secure authentication mechanisms** 4. Administration & Support - Administer M365 services including: - **Exchange Online** - **Microsoft Teams** - **SharePoint Online & OneDrive** - Monitor system health, availability, performance, and reliability - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time 5. Automation & Scripting - Use **PowerShell scripting** for automation and administration - Manage and automate tasks across **Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Azure AD** 6. Security & Compliance - Participate in **security reviews and compliance audits** - Implement best practices for **data protection, governance, and access control** - Work with **Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS)** (good to have) 7. Stakeholder & Client Engagement - Lead **technical discussions with clients and stakeholders** - Provide recommendations on **best practices, architecture, and optimization** - Ensure enhanced user experience and adoption of M365 tools 8. Knowledge Management & Continuous Learning - Stay updated with **latest M365 features, Copilot capabilities, and cloud advancements** - Promote user awareness and training on collaboration tools and best practices **Mandatory Skills** - Microsoft Office 365 / M365 - Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online - Exchange Server (2010 / 2013) - Migration experience (On-prem to O365) - Active Directory & Identity Management **Good-to-Have Skills** - Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) - Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) - Hybrid environment management - Experience with Copilot for M365 - PowerShell scripting & automation **Technical Requirements** - Strong experience in designing and implementing **O365 solutions** - Hands-on expertise in **Exchange Hybrid environments** - Experience with **DirSync, ADFS, Conditional Access Policies** - Knowledge of **G3/G5 licensing frameworks** - Experience with **Intune / endpoint integration** (preferred) **Soft Skills** - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and client handling skills - Ability to work independently and in team environments - High attention to detail and organizational skills **Working Conditions** - Flexible to work in **project-based or on-call environments** - Ability to support **critical migration and production activities** **Educational Qualification** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field **Hiring Note (TCS Style)** Candidate should have strong experience in **M365 migration, Exchange hybrid environments, and cloud identity management**, with the ability to handle enterprise-scale deployments and client-facing engagements. **Primary Skills (For Portal Entry)** - Microsoft 365 (O365) - Exchange Online / Hybrid - SharePoint Online - Microsoft Teams - Azure AD - PowerShell - Cloud Migration
