The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in enterprise environments and demonstrate strong troubleshooting, vendor management, and systems administration skills. Must-Have Skills - Strong experience in **Linux Administration (Red Hat Linux 5/6/7/8)** - Good knowledge of **HP-UX and Solaris Administration** - Strong server hardware troubleshooting skills - Experience in vendor coordination and management - Basic understanding of Database and Storage fundamentals - Experience in OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and migration activities - Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills - Knowledge of Linux scripting (Bash, Perl, Python) Good-to-Have Skills - Knowledge of **Ansible Automation** - Exposure to **Cloud Computing (AWS)** - Experience with Configuration Management and Automation tools - Knowledge of Containerization and Modern Infrastructure Technologies Key Responsibilities - Administer and support Linux, HP-UX, and Solaris environments. - Handle day-to-day operational support, OS migration activities, and break-fix support. - Manage and troubleshoot DNS, NFS, LDAP, Samba, and remote access security services. - Configure and maintain physical servers including HP, IBM Blade, Dell, and Cisco UCS platforms. - Perform software package installation, upgrades, patch administration, and vulnerability remediation. - Execute migration activities including PV Migration and LVM Migration. - Build and decommission servers through VRA/VRO platforms. - Administer Veritas Cluster Server, including service group creation, failover configuration, and resource management. - Manage monitoring and backup solutions such as Spectrum Monitoring and Actifio Backup. - Maintain CMDB updates and configuration management activities. - Provide support for Oracle RAC and Red Hat Cluster environments. - Configure and troubleshoot NFS and NTP services. - Manage Satellite Server registration, deregistration, and issue resolution. - Perform system performance analysis and troubleshooting. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Perl, or Python. - Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation activities. - Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure-related issues and hardware support. - Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
