**Network Administrator** **Experience** Network Operations and Administration **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **Network Administrator** to manage, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The role focuses on daytoday network operations, incident resolution, monitoring, and implementation of standard changes across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center environments. The Network Administrator will work closely with network architects, engineers, security teams, and service management to support stable and secure IT operations. **Key Responsibilities** **Network Operations & Support** - Administer and support enterprise **LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Internet connectivity** - Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using standard monitoring tools - Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for network issues - Ensure network uptime and adherence to SLAs **Configuration & Maintenance** - Configure, maintain, and support: - Routers, switches, and wireless controllers - Firewalls and VPN devices (basic administration) - Perform standard changes, patching, firmware upgrades, and configuration backups - Implement approved network designs and changes as per architecture standards **Security & Compliance** - Support network security controls such as: - Firewall rule administration - VPN user and sitetosite configurations - Network segmentation and access controls - Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and operational standards - Assist in vulnerability remediation and audit support activities **Monitoring & Documentation** - Monitor alerts, logs, and events; take proactive actions to prevent outages - Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories - Update runbooks, SOPs, and operational procedures **Collaboration & Escalation** - Work with Network Architects and Senior Engineers on complex issues - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution - Escalate unresolved issues in line with incident management processes **Continuous Improvement** - Identify recurring issues and recommend operational improvements - Participate in problem management and postincident reviews - Support automation and standardization initiatives where applicable **Required Skills & Experience** **Core Networking Skills** - Solid understanding of: - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP - Routing & Switching fundamentals (OSPF, BGP basics) - VLANs, STP, NAT - Experience supporting WAN, Internet, and VPN connectivity **Vendor & Platform Experience** - Handson experience with networking devices from: - Cisco (Catalyst, ISR, Nexus basic level) - Aruba / Juniper (preferred) - Basic experience with firewall platforms such as: - Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point **Tools & Operations** - Experience with network monitoring tools (SNMPbased, NMS, logs) - Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) - Exposure to ticketing tools and operational reporting **Soft Skills** - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Good communication and documentation abilities - Ability to work in shifts and oncall rotations (if required) - Teamoriented mindset with attention to detail
