The ideal candidate should possess experience managing Tanium modules, supporting security operations, automating tasks, and collaborating with enterprise security and infrastructure teams. Must-Have Skills - Hands-on experience with **Tanium Platform Administration** - Experience managing Tanium modules: - Deploy - Patch - Comply - Detect - Threat Response - Asset - Discover - Strong understanding of Endpoint Security and SOC Operations - Experience with: - Windows - macOS - Linux Environments - Vulnerability Management and Patch Management expertise - Knowledge of Incident Response and Security Investigations - Scripting experience using: - PowerShell - Python - Shell Scripting - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Good-to-Have Skills - Experience integrating Tanium with SIEM and SOAR tools - Tanium Administrator or Operator Certifications - Security Certifications such as: - CISSP - CEH - Security+ - Experience in Security Automation and Endpoint Threat Hunting Key Responsibilities Tanium Platform Operations - Administer, configure, and maintain the Tanium platform and associated modules. - Ensure platform availability, performance, and operational health. - Perform Tanium upgrades, patching, configuration management, and version upgrades. - Develop and manage custom sensors, packages, and automation workflows. Security Operations & Incident Response - Support SOC activities using Tanium for endpoint visibility and investigations. - Assist with incident detection, containment, remediation, and threat response. - Execute endpoint isolation and forensic data collection activities. - Participate in P1 and P2 incident support and troubleshooting. Vulnerability & Patch Management - Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across enterprise endpoints. - Coordinate patch deployment activities with IT and application teams. - Monitor patch compliance and remediation effectiveness. - Generate vulnerability and compliance reports for stakeholders. Compliance & Configuration Management - Support compliance audits using Tanium Comply. - Develop and maintain security baselines and configuration policies. - Monitor compliance posture and drive remediation efforts. Reporting & Collaboration - Create operational dashboards and executive-level reports. - Provide actionable insights regarding endpoint health and security risks. - Collaborate with SOC, IT Operations, EUC, and Infrastructure teams. - Coordinate operational activities for improved service delivery. Additional Responsibilities - Track progress of ongoing projects and action items. - Mentor and train junior team members. - Drive service improvement initiatives and automation programs. - Support problem management and aging ticket reduction activities. - Participate in 24x7 support operations and on-call rotations. - Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools for future projects. - Coordinate across multiple support teams to improve operational effectiveness.
