Job description

- Design, deploy, and manage **email security solutions** (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco Email Security) - Monitor and analyze **email threats** including phishing, spoofing, malware, and business email compromise (BEC) - Configure and maintain **anti-spam, anti-malware, and anti-phishing policies** - Implement and manage **email authentication protocols**: - SPF (Sender Policy Framework) - DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) - DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) - Investigate and respond to **email security incidents** - Perform **threat analysis and reporting** on suspicious emails and campaigns - Conduct **user awareness and phishing simulation programs** - Ensure compliance with **security standards and policies** (ISO, NIST, etc.) - Work with SOC, IT, and network teams to enhance security posture - Manage **email encryption and data loss prevention (DLP)** policies - Maintain documentation and produce regular **security reports** Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of: - Email protocols: SMTP, POP3, IMAP - Email security tools (Proofpoint, Mimecast, O365 Defender, etc.) - Hands-on experience with **phishing detection and analysis** - Understanding of **cybersecurity principles and threat vectors** - Experience with **SIEM tools** (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) - Knowledge of **DNS and email routing** - Familiarity with **scripting (PowerShell/Python)** is an advantage
