Walk-in || Workday Tester

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** Review business requirements, functional specifications and Workday configurations. • Develop and execute Test Scenarios and Test Cases. • Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Validate Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent Management. • Test Workday Business Processes and Security Roles. • Test Inbound and Outbound Integrations (EIB, Core Connector, Studio, Extend, SOAP/REST APIs) and data mappings. • Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps. • Collaborate with Developers, Functional Consultants, Integration Teams and Business teams. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). Test Automation/ Technical Skills: • Design and develop Automation Frameworks for Workday applications. • Build reusable automation scripts for regression suites. • API testing using Postman / REST Assured • Familiarity with XML, JSON, SOAP, REST • Automate test cases using tools such as: - Selenium / Cypress / Playwright (C# / Java / Python / JavaScript) - Workday-specific tools (e.g., Kainos Smart Test, AccelQ, OpKey) Required Skills: • 3 - 8+ years of experience in QA/testing. • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Workday testing/automation. • Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent Management) • Knowledge of Workday HCM business processes, Security and reporting. • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. • Experience in Workday implementations or support projects. • Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. **Preferred Skills:** • Workday certifications (HCM, Integration, Financials) • Experience with Security testing in Workday.
