Job Description - -------------- **Walkin Interview -SAP BASIS Administrator / SAP BASIS Consultant-Noida/Delhi -- 25th July** **Job Summary** Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an experienced **SAP BASIS Administrator** responsible for installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, migrations, and support of SAP landscapes. The candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, Oracle databases, Linux/Unix administration, SAP Java systems, system copies, cloud technologies, and Solution Manager. Key Responsibilities **SAP BASIS Administration** * Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, BW, CRM, SCM, PI/PO, Solution Manager, S/4HANA). * Daily SAP BASIS administration and production support activities. * Perform kernel upgrades, support package implementation, and enhancement packs. * Monitor SAP systems for availability, performance, and security. * Manage SAP transport requests across landscapes. **SAP HANA \& Database Administration** * Administration and monitoring of SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, and other supported databases. * Database performance analysis and tuning. * Database backup, recovery, and refresh activities. * HANA system replication and disaster recovery management. **SAP JAVA \& Portal Administration** * Installation and administration of SAP NetWeaver Java systems. * SAP Enterprise Portal administration and troubleshooting. * User and role management within Java stack environments. * Monitoring and performance optimization of Java applications. **Linux/Unix Administration** * Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems. * OS-level troubleshooting and performance monitoring. * Managing filesystem, storage, memory, and process-related issues. * Coordination with infrastructure teams during upgrades and migrations. **SAP System Copy \& Migration** * Homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies. * SAP OS/DB migration activities. * SAP refresh activities across development, QA, and production environments. * Planning and execution of migration projects with minimal downtime. **Monitoring \& Support** * Incident, problem, and change management using ticketing tools. * Root cause analysis and permanent fix implementation. * Coordination with SAP functional and technical teams. * Support during critical business periods and go-live activities. **SAP Solution Manager** * Administration and configuration of SAP Solution Manager. * Early Watch Alerts (EWA), Monitoring, and Diagnostics. * ChaRM (Change Request Management) support. * Technical monitoring and system landscape management. **Cloud \& Advanced Technologies** * Exposure to SAP systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Knowledge of SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and cloud migration strategies. * Automation and scripting for BASIS operations. * Experience with modern SAP landscape management tools. **Required Technical Skills** **Mandatory Skills** * SAP BASIS Administration * SAP NetWeaver Administration * SAP HANA Administration * Oracle/SQL Database Knowledge * Linux/Unix Administration * SAP Java Stack Administration * SAP Portal Administration * System Refresh \& Client Copy * SAP OS/DB Migration * SAP Transport Management System (TMS) * Performance Tuning * Backup \& Recovery * Ticketing Tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA, etc.)
