**Job Description WebMethods Integration EngineerRole Overview**We are seeking an experienced **WebMethods Integration Engineer** to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using the Software AG WebMethods suite. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise across core WebMethods components, messaging platforms, and relational database systems. The role also requires solid Linux proficiency for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. **Key ResponsibilitiesWebMethods Development & Integration** - Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations using **WebMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, My webMethods Server (MWS), Broker, and Designer**. - Build and manage integrations involving B2B partners, EDI transactions, and enterprise applications. - Troubleshoot and optimize WebMethods services, flows, adapters, triggers, and packages. - Support version upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of the WebMethods platform. **Messaging & Middleware Integration** - Integrate applications using messaging systems such as **Apache ActiveMQ, JMS Messaging, or IBM WebSphere MQ**. - Develop message flows, queues, topics, and routing configurations. - Ensure reliable asynchronous communication using best integration practices. **Database Integration** - Work with relational databases, preferably **Oracle**, to build and tune SQL queries used in integrations. - Configure JDBC adapters and ensure efficient DB connectivity from WebMethods services. **Linux & Platform Operations** - Perform **advanced Linux command-line operations** to support deployments, logs analysis, performance monitoring, and system troubleshooting. - Manage application runtime, scripts, file transfers, and server-level configurations. **Support & Collaboration** - Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, Network, DB, QA) to deliver integration solutions. - Provide L2/L3 support for production issues, debugging, and root cause analysis. - Document system designs, flows, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing. **Required Skills & ExperiencePrimary Skills (Must Have)** - Hands-on experience with the **WebMethods** suite: - Integration Server (IS) - Trading Networks (TN) - My webMethods Server (MWS) - Broker - Designer - Strong understanding of integration patterns, mapping, transformations, and error handling. **Secondary Skills (Good to Have)** - Experience with **messaging systems**: - Apache ActiveMQ - JMS Messaging - IBM WebSphere MQ - Strong SQL skills and experience with **Oracle Database**. - Proficiency in **Linux command-line** operations for application support and maintenance.
