**Job Location:** Khandala MIDC, Phase-II, Village Kesurdi, Tal.- Khandala, Dist.- Satara, Maharashtra. **Designation:** Welder **( on Fixed Term Contract)** **Department:** Nuclear Fabrication **Formal education:** ITI **- Welder** ( No other qualification) **Professional experience:** 3 to 7 years **Job Summary:** We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder for our Nuclear Fabrication Department on a Fixed Term Contract basis. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in GTAW welding with the ability to deliver high-quality welds meeting Radiography (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) standards. **Role & responsibilities:** - Perform welding using GTAW (TIG), SMAW and other applicable welding processes. - Execute joint preparation, fit-up, welding, post-weld finishing, and repairs as required. - Read and follow WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and engineering drawings. - Produce high-quality welds meeting RT & UT standards. - Perform pre-process, in-process and final weld inspections. - Work in 6G position piping (qualified welders preferred). - Handle electrodes and filler wires as per material grade and combinations. - Conduct thermal gouging, gas/plasma cutting, and preheating operations. - Perform grinding and fitment activities. - Basic maintenance of welding machines and torches. - Handle heavy jobs using overhead cranes and stackers. - Work at height, in enclosed spaces and high-temperature environments using proper PPE. - Follow all safety rules, housekeeping standards and company policies. - Work in shifts as per production requirements. **Technical Knowledge Required:** - Knowledge of GTAW / SMAW welding processes. - Understanding of WPS / PQR / WPQ and welding qualification procedures. - Knowledge of welding consumables for different steel material grades. - Familiarity with RT & UT weld quality standards. **Perks and benefits** - Canteen - Local Transport - Insurance
