Youll work alongside collaborative and skilled teammates. Youll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with welding specifications and standards, directly impacting the quality and safety of our products. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality), provide technical support to various departments, and take part in supplier and customer audits, among other responsibilities. Youll specifically take care of supervising the qualifications of welding staff and procedures, but also lead the "Welding Technique" group and drive continuous improvement in welding processes. **All about you** We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, weve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: - Degree: IWE (International Welding Engineer) graduate or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Experience in the heavy metal welding industry - Ability to train engineers and welders - Experience in the locomotive or automobile industry (preferred) - 10-12 years of professional experience in a similar field - Proficiency in English - Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong team player with a collaborative mindset - Ability to manage diversity and work effectively in global teams - Demonstrated agility and ability to adapt to uncertainty - Customer-focused with strong integrity and managerial courage
