Window Server Administrator

Job description

**Key Job Responsibilities:** - **Administration & Maintenance:** Perform installation, configuration, patching, and administration of Windows Servers (Physical/Virtual). - **Virtualization:** Manage and support Hyper-V infrastructure and large-scale VMware environments. - **Automation:** Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts. - **Infrastructure Services:** Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP. - **Security & Troubleshooting:** Troubleshoot complex server performance issues, analyze root causes, and manage remote security patching. - **Backup & DR:** Implement backup/restore policies and maintain disaster recovery plans. **Required Skills and Experience:** - **Experience:** 5-8 years of hands-on Windows Server administration. - **Scripting:** Strong hands-on experience on PowerShell. - **Virtualization:** Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare. - **Network/Security:** Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and security protocols. - **Processes:** Familiarity with ITIL framework and Change Management.
