**Role** • Workday Functional Consultant Supply chain • Workday Support Developer Supply chain **Required Skill Set** Workday SCM **Desired Experience Range** • Workday Functional Consultant Supply chain (> 8 years) • Workday Support Developer Supply chain (5-7 years) **Location of Requirement:** Chennai/Bangalore **Must-Have** Role Summary The Workday SCM Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of Workday Supply Chain Management modules. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand procurement, inventory, and supplier management processes, translating business requirements into scalable Workday SCM solutions while ensuring compliance, data integrity, and best practices. Key Responsibilities Implementation & Configuration • Lead or support end-to-end Workday SCM implementations, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment • Configure and support key Workday SCM modules such as: o Procurement o Suppliers o Inventory o Business Assets • Translate business requirements into functional designs aligned with Workday best practices • Configure business processes, notifications, security roles, and approvals within SCM AMS / Production Support • Provide L2/L3 production support for Workday SCM modules Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and defects within defined SLAs • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence • Support Workday quarterly releases, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment Integrations & Reporting • Collaborate with integration teams for SCM-related integrations (inbound/outbound) • Support data loads such as suppliers, items, inventory balances, and assets • Develop and maintain SCM reports, dashboards, and analytics for business users Stakeholder & Process Management • Work closely with Procurement, Finance, and Operations stakeholders • Conduct workshops, demos, and user training sessions • Provide strategic recommendations to improve supply chain processes and system efficiency Governance & Documentation • Maintain functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards • Support SOP creation, KT sessions, and steady-state readiness for AMS transitions
