**Work location Kolkata --Virtual Drive** **Job Description** Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking experienced **Workday Payroll Functional Consultants** to join its Workday practice. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **Workday Payroll configuration, implementation, support, and enhancement projects** , with a deep understanding of payroll business processes and stakeholder management. **Key Responsibilities** - Gather, analyze, and document payroll business requirements. - Configure and maintain Workday Payroll solutions based on business needs. - Lead and support Workday Payroll implementation, enhancement, and support projects. - Perform gap analysis and recommend Workday best practices. - Configure payroll earning and deduction codes, pay groups, payroll calendars, and payroll processing rules. - Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and payroll parallel runs. - Coordinate with HR, Finance, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence Management teams. - Manage payroll-related issues, troubleshoot defects, and provide production support. - Prepare functional specifications, training materials, and user documentation. **Required Skills** - Hands-on experience in **Workday Payroll Functional Consulting** . - Strong knowledge of: - Workday Payroll - Payroll Processing - Payroll Configuration - Earnings & Deductions - Payroll Tax Setup - Payroll Reporting - Period-End Payroll Activities - Experience in Workday implementation, rollout, support, or transformation projects. - Knowledge of Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking integrations. - Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment activities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred Skills** - Workday Payroll Certification. - Exposure to multi-country payroll implementations. - Experience with Workday Reporting, EIB, and integrations. - Knowledge of Workday Studio and Payroll Interfaces. **Eligibility Criteria** - Overall experience: **6-10 Years** - Relevant experience in **Workday Payroll** . - At least one end-to-end Workday implementation or support project. - Excellent client-facing and communication skills. - Willingness to work across TCS locations as per business requirements. **Mandatory Skill** **Workday Payroll** **Role** **Functional Consultant - Workday Payroll**
