Job description

**Role & responsibilities** Key Responsibilities: - Review business requirements, functional specifications and Workday configurations. - Develop and execute Test Scenarios and Test Cases. - Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Validate Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent Management. - Test Workday Business Processes and Security Roles. - Test Inbound and Outbound Integrations (EIB, Core Connector, Studio, Extend, SOAP/REST APIs) and data mappings. - Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps. - Collaborate with Developers, Functional Consultants, Integration Teams and Business teams. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). Test Automation/ Technical Skills: - Design and develop Automation Frameworks for Workday applications. - Build reusable automation scripts for regression suites. - API testing using Postman / REST Assured - Familiarity with XML, JSON, SOAP, REST - Automate test cases using tools such as: - Selenium / Cypress / Playwright (C# / Java / Python / JavaScript) - Workday-specific tools (e.g., Kainos Smart Test, AccelQ, OpKey) Required Skills: - 3 - 8+ years of experience in QA/testing. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in Workday testing/automation. - Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent Management) - Knowledge of Workday HCM business processes, Security and reporting. - Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. - Experience in Workday implementations or support projects. - Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Skills: - Workday certifications (HCM, Integration, Financials) - Experience with Security testing in Workday **Preferred candidate profile**
