Job Description – Finance Trainer (ACCA) Position: Finance Trainer – ACCA Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–5 Years Industry: Education / EdTech / Professional Training About the Role We are looking for an experienced and passionate Finance Trainer – ACCA to join our academic/training team in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ACCA training, simplifying complex financial concepts, mentoring students, and supporting them in their professional certification journey. Key Responsibilities • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for ACCA students. • Deliver lectures across relevant ACCA subjects such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Audit & Assurance, Taxation, Performance Management, and Financial Management. • Explain complex accounting and finance concepts in a simple and practical manner. • Prepare lesson plans, presentations, study materials, assignments, mock tests, and practice questions. • Conduct regular assessments, doubt-clearing sessions, and revision classes. • Track student performance and provide constructive feedback. • Mentor students and support them in their ACCA examination preparation. • Stay updated with changes in ACCA syllabus, examination patterns, IFRS, accounting standards, and industry practices. • Use practical examples and case studies to make sessions more engaging. • Collaborate with the academic team to improve course content and student outcomes. • Maintain high standards of teaching quality, student engagement, and academic delivery. Candidate Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • ACCA qualification / ACCA finalist / relevant professional qualification preferred. • 2–5 years of experience in ACCA training, finance training, accounting, audit, or teaching. • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance concepts. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills. • Experience in EdTech, professional education, or coaching institutes will be an added advantage. Preferred Skills • Strong understanding of IFRS and International Accounting Standards. • Practical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting. • Good command of MS Excel and PowerPoint. • Strong mentoring and problem-solving abilities. • Comfortable conducting both offline and online training sessions.
