Role Overview • Responsible for end-to-end design and development of Analog and Digital electronic cards/PCBs. • Lead schematic design, prototype development, hardware validation, debugging, and production support activities. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Analog and Digital electronic cards/PCBs for embedded, industrial, defense, or aerospace applications. • Create detailed schematics using OrCAD Capture and support PCB layout activities. • Review PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, isolation, and manufacturability. • Select electronic components and perform design calculations, derating, and optimization. • Develop, assemble, and validate prototype PCBs. • Coordinate with PCB designers and fabrication/assembly vendors for successful implementation. • Perform hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. • Generate engineering documentation including BOMs, design reports, test procedures, and manufacturing packages. Technical Skills Required • Strong understanding of Analog Electronics including Op-Amps, Filters, ADC/DACs, Signal Conditioning, Power Supplies, SMPS, and Protection Circuits. • Strong understanding of Digital Electronics, Microcontrollers, Processors, FPGA interfaces, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, RS422/485, CAN, Ethernet). • Hands-on experience with OrCAD Capture and OrCAD/Allegro PCB design environment. • Experience in multilayer PCB design concepts, PCB stack-up planning, DFM, and DFT. • Good understanding of EMI/EMC design requirements and mitigation techniques as per MIL-STD-461. • Strong debugging skills using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, and other lab instruments.
