**Job Title:** Senior Data Scientist AI/ML (Automotive Domain) **Experience:** 6–10 Years **Location:** Chennai **Employment Type:** Full-time **Key Skills (Mandate):** - Data Science, AI/ML - Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) - Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised) - Advanced SQL - LLM Guardrails / Generative AI Safety **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Data Scientist – AI/ML** with strong experience in the **Automotive domain** to lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in solving complex business challenges using cutting-edge data science techniques, ensuring scalability, robustness, and compliance with AI safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy **end-to-end AI/ML models** to solve complex business problems in the automotive space. - Apply advanced **machine learning algorithms** (supervised & unsupervised) for predictive analytics and decision-making. - Build, optimize, and maintain **data pipelines and ML workflows** using Python-based tools and frameworks. - Implement **LLM guardrails and safety mechanisms** to ensure responsible AI deployment. - Perform **model evaluation, validation, and hyperparameter tuning** to improve performance and reliability. - Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights using **advanced SQL queries**. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business stakeholders) to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Drive best practices in **model governance, documentation, and versioning**. - Present analytical findings and model outcomes to stakeholders in a **clear and actionable manner**. **Required Qualifications:** - 5–10 years of hands-on experience in **Data Science, AI/ML**. - Strong programming experience in **Python**, with expertise in: - Pandas - NumPy - Scikit-learn - Solid understanding of: - Machine Learning algorithms - Statistical modeling techniques - Model evaluation methods - Experience working in the **Automotive domain** (highly preferred). - Proficiency in **Advanced SQL** for data manipulation, querying, and analysis. - Experience with **Generative AI / LLMs and Guardrails frameworks** is a must. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. **Educational Qualifications:** - Master’s degree in: - Data Science (M.Sc) OR - Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (M.Tech) - Relevant certifications such as: - Certified Data Scientist - Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer (preferred) **Good to Have:** - Experience with **data visualization tools** (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn). - Familiarity with **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Knowledge of **MLOps practices** and model deployment pipelines. - Exposure to **big data technologies** (Spark, Hadoop). **Soft Skills:** - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work in a **collaborative team environment** - Capability to handle **complex data challenges** independently - Excellent problem-solving mindset
