Job Title: Senior Data Scientist AI/ML (Automotive Domain) Experience: 6–10 Years Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-time Key Skills (Mandate): • Data Science, AI/ML • Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) • Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised) • Advanced SQL • LLM Guardrails / Generative AI Safety Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist – AI/ML with strong experience in the Automotive domain to lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in solving complex business challenges using cutting-edge data science techniques, ensuring scalability, robustness, and compliance with AI safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML models to solve complex business problems in the automotive space. • Apply advanced machine learning algorithms (supervised & unsupervised) for predictive analytics and decision-making. • Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ML workflows using Python-based tools and frameworks. • Implement LLM guardrails and safety mechanisms to ensure responsible AI deployment. • Perform model evaluation, validation, and hyperparameter tuning to improve performance and reliability. • Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights using advanced SQL queries. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business stakeholders) to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Drive best practices in model governance, documentation, and versioning. • Present analytical findings and model outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Required Qualifications: • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, AI/ML. • Strong programming experience in Python, with expertise in: • Pandas • NumPy • Scikit-learn • Solid understanding of: • Machine Learning algorithms • Statistical modeling techniques • Model evaluation methods • Experience working in the Automotive domain (highly preferred). • Proficiency in Advanced SQL for data manipulation, querying, and analysis. • Experience with Generative AI / LLMs and Guardrails frameworks is a must. • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Educational Qualifications: • Master’s degree in: • Data Science (M.Sc) OR • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (M.Tech) • Relevant certifications such as: • Certified Data Scientist • Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer (preferred) Good to Have: • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn). • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines. • Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop). Soft Skills: • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment • Capability to handle complex data challenges independently • Excellent problem-solving mindset
