Role Summary Trainer is responsible for leading the Airport Services Training function by ensuring training compliance, capability development, standardization, and continuous improvement across the network. The role acts as the key link between operational requirements, regulatory expectations, and training delivery. Role & responsibilities Manage Airport Services training programs, ensuring compliance with DGCA, company, and regulatory requirements. Develop, review, and update training content, assessments, and learning materials. Monitor network-wide training compliance, recurrent training requirements, and competency standards. Lead and support Station Trainers to ensure standardized training delivery and assessments. Conduct training, trainer calibrations, assessments and competency evaluations as required. Oversee training governance, records, certifications, and reporting processes through the Training Management System (TMS). Analyze operational, safety, audit, and service trends to identify training needs and implement corrective actions. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews by ensuring training documentation remains accurate and audit-ready. Collaborate with Airport Operations, Safety, Quality, HR, and other stakeholders on training and capability development initiatives. Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance, safety culture, and customer service standards. Key Deliverables (Measurable) 95% training compliance across the network. 100% mandatory and recurrent training completed as per approved training plan. Zero major audit findings related to training compliance. 100% training records and certifications maintained within prescribed timelines. Timely submission of training reports, compliance dashboards, and management updates. Standardized training delivery and assessment practices across all stations. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Airport Operations and Ground Handling processes. Working knowledge of Weight & Balance, Dangerous Goods, SMS, Passenger & Baggage Handling, Airside Safety, and Cargo Operations. Understanding of quality assurance, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance. Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills. Good analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Training Management Systems, and airport systems (Go Now/ Sky speed). Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools for training administration, data management, reporting, compliance tracking, and content development will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently, lead teams, and manage multiple priorities.
