**Analyst Transaction Monitoring Operations** Position Summary We are seeking an **Analyst Transaction Monitoring Operations** to support operational reviews of transactions, alerts, and exceptions flagged for review. The role is execution-focused and requires the analyst to follow approved SOPs, review assigned cases accurately, apply judgment for exception handling, make defined operational decisions, document outcomes clearly, and escalate unusual or unresolved exceptions as per procedure. Key Responsibilities Transaction Monitoring Execution - Review transactions, alerts, and exceptions flagged for transaction monitoring based on defined rules, thresholds, and SOPs. - Assess transactions, alerts, and exceptions for basic risk indicators, unusual activity, and process deviations. - Make defined operational decisions on transaction monitoring cases and exception handling within approved SOPs and escalation guidelines. - Escalate suspicious, unusual, or unresolved transactions, alerts, or exceptions to the appropriate team lead, manager, or escalation queue. Case Documentation & Operational Controls - Document review outcomes clearly, including the decision taken, supporting observations, and escalation reason where applicable. - Maintain accurate case records, evidence, and audit trails in workflow tools, trackers, or internal systems. - Follow operational procedures consistently and ensure compliance with defined quality checks and review standards. - Identify recurring operational issues, documentation gaps, or review challenges and share them with the team lead or manager. Production Discipline & Roster Support - Support a roster-based operating model and ensure availability during assigned shifts, with mandatory weekend coverage every week. - Work in a 6-day operating model, including every weekend, with weekly compensatory off as per business roster. - Maintain productivity, quality, and consistency in a high-volume operational environment. - Adapt quickly to SOP updates, alert logic changes, review instructions, and operational priorities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - 3–5 years of relevant experience in transaction monitoring, fraud operations, risk operations, payments operations, banking operations, or financial services operations. - Ability to follow SOPs, review checklists, alert handling procedures, exception handling logic, and escalation guidelines accurately. - Good attention to detail, documentation discipline, and ability to manage high-volume case queues. - Good written and verbal English communication skills, along with willingness to work in a roster-based model Preferred Qualifications - Prior exposure to eCommerce, Payments, FinTech, Banking, Card Issuance, Merchant Acquiring, or Financial Services operations. - Experience working with alerts, case queues, workflow tools, trackers, or operational review systems. - Comfortable working on repetitive, time-sensitive, and volume-driven reviews while maintaining accuracy. - Ability to identify recurring patterns, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve review consistency or escalation quality.
